In 1998 the Group obtained control of SIDAC S.r.l. of Forlì, operating in the flexible packaging sector, which within the new group has undergone a considerable growth in size and turnover, which has become a modern industrial enterprise. The sector then strengthened in 2001 with the acquisition of the companies PLASTISAC S.r.l. of Castel San Pietro Terme (BO) and TECNOSLEEVE of Milan, incorporated in 2003 in Sidac S.r.l.

SIDAC, Società Italiana di Applicazione Cellophane, has been in business since 1929 in the industrial packaging and labelling sector. The hi-tec plant and equipment for roto-offset and flexographic printing, splicing and cutting, the ability of the personnel, “just in time” management of the warehouse and the presence of an advanced laboratory involved not only in research and development on new materials but also quality control on materials from production processes enable Sidac to offer a wide range of products for the food, chemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors, handling small and large orders with great flexibility.
Along with changes in food preparation and peoples demand SIDAC developed also a new production range with innovative materials such as high barrier films, recloseable films and tub tops for microwave oven.
In the LABELING sector we have developed and produced:
- SHRINK
- ROLL FED
- STRETCH
labels for important companies in the retail sector in Italy and foreign countries.
The company, in addition to being certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 by TÜV Italia, has also obtained the prestigious certification BRC-IOP international safety and hygiene products during the development cycle.
