With the abolition of the National Association of Builders after the entry into force of Merloni Ter, ACMAR has obtained, through PROTOS SOA S.p.A., certification of qualification for services of design and construction up to classification VIII and qualification for execution of public works in 25 different general and special categories.
Environmental Management System

The great attention to aspects of environmental protection has always characterised all the activities of ACMAR by means of close cooperation with the intense activity of research and development aimed at a continual renewal and perfection of construction techniques and materials with low environmental impact, projects inspired by the criteria of low impact construction and the use of materials from C&WD (construction and demolition waste).
This attitude has been confirmed by the setting up of an Environmental Management System complying with UNI EN 14001:2004.
Quality Management System

In order to achieve constant improvement in its services and to satisfy the demands of an increasingly selective market, since December 2000 ACMAR has had a Quality System certified in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:94, by TÜV Italia, one of the most authoritative certification bodies and recognized nationally and internationally. Today, our Quality Management System is certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 with the following scope:
Design, construction and rebuilding of buildings, included real estates under law protection. Design, construction and maintenance of mobility infrastructures, net hydraulics works, maritime works and environmental reclamation and protection.
Occupational Health & Safety Management System

[Translate to English:]
National Register of Environmental Management
On 12/12/2006 Acmar obtained registration with the National Registry of Environmental Management Companies for site rehabilitation - Category 9 Class E.
The National Registry of Environmental Management Companies, instituted by Legislative Decree 152/06 (the so-called 'Environmental code', in force since 29 April 2006) as a natural evolution of the “National Registry of Waste Management Companies” regulated by Legislative Decree 22/97, plays a central role in the complex system that regulates the handling of waste.
Organised as a National Committee, with head office at the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of the Territory and Sea, and with Regional Branches, instituted at the Chambers of commerce of the regional capitals, it acts as an instrument for the selection, qualification and preventive control (by means of verification of the possession of the general requirements of technical and financial suitability) of the companies operating in the sector of waste handling.
It therefore represents a reference point and guaranty for all the subjects involved: the companies that produce waste, the subjects qualified for waste handling (transport, collection, treatment, reclamation, commercialisation, etc.), the public administrations, the control bodies and the general public.
Internal Control system ex LD 231/2001
ACMAR has created and documented its own Internal Control System, consistent with the requirements of Legislative Decree n. 231/2001 for the purposes of a double objective: on one hand, it was decided to set up a set of procedures and controls to satisfy the requirements of the Decree in regard to prevention of illicit acts, in order to:
- instil in all those operating in the name of and on behalf of the company in risk area activities, awareness of the possibility of incurring, in the event of violation of the provisions shown therein, an illicit act liable to penal and administrative penalties, not only personally but also on the part of the company
- emphasise that such forms of illicit conduct are highly condemned by ACMAR as they are contrary not only to the provisions of law but also the ethical and social principles adhered to by the company in the pursuance of its company mission
- allow the company, thanks to constant monitoring of risk area activities, to intervene promptly to prevent or oppose the committing of offences.
On the other hand it was decided to distribute to all company personnel, the set of principles which, aimed at achieving greater organisational efficiency, improvement of company image and reputation in the eyes of the clients, development of the company identity, greater cohesion among members, improvement in internal fairness and the relationship between members and the cooperative, constitute the basic values by which the company operates daily in the market.
